Congratulations Katalin Nagy! Katalin won the peoples choice prize for the 'Spirit of ANZAC' Exhibition for her wonderful painting which embraced the theme. During the presentation of her $1000 award Katalin once again captured the spirit of the ANZAC's by generously donating the prize money to the Canowindra Hospital Auxiliary. It was a very emotional moment and it took a few minutes for the fundraisers to realize that this meant that they were so much closer to their goal.
Recent Exhibitions 'Remnants' Recent works by Fran Ifould and Emily Jackett.

Congratulations to Lara Ireland, winner of our 'Works on Paper' Peoples Choice Competition.
'Somewhere Else' Lucy Buttenshaw In the main gallery 'Somewhere Else' was an
amazing body of work by Lucy Buttenshaw. The opening was a great
success with Martin Lane officially opening the exhibition. In his opening speech, Martin talked of Lucy's recent travels, communications over distance, Lucy's imagination and the viewers interpretation of the images all having relevance to the name 'Somewhere Else'. There are many wonderful paintings in this collection and you can see these works by Lucy Buttenshaw by visiting her website www.lucybuttenshaw.com

'Spirit of ANZAC' Peoples Choice Exhibition The response to the 'Spirit of ANZAC' Exhibition has been great. Artists produced some very moving and sensitive works relating to a theme that seems to be embodied in our national psyche.
